About Adam Schwarze

Adam Schwarze has a history of balancing academic pursuits with duties to the United States military. A Harvard Extension School student, he is working toward a master arts in liberal studies (ALM) in international relations. Alongside this, he is completing the courses necessary to obtain certificates in international security and nuclear deterrence. His studies focus on counter insurgency and the Middle East policy. Adam Schwarze is also an Officer in the United States Navy.

Prior to his enrollment at Harvard, Schwarze spent 10 years with the United States Marine Corps. He enlisted with the branch after he graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and served as an infantry unit leader. During this time, he pursued a bachelor of science (BS) in political science from the University of Minnesota. He received the degree in 2012.

Outside of work and academia, Schwarze engages in various hobbies. An active individual, he is fond of running and weight-lifting. In addition, he enjoys golf, hockey, boating, and skydiving.
